IGOR RYBAKOV, BILLIONAIRE TECH INVESTOR - "FAMTECH WILL BE A MAJOR TREND"

Igor Rybakov - entrepreneur, venture capitalist, philanthropist, included in the Forbes list of the wealthiest people in the world. Igor Rybakov is a Co-founder and co-owner of the TECHNONICOL corporation - a world leader in the field of construction materials: 54 factories in seven countries worldwide, and of tech company PRYTEK. He is also a co-founder of the Rybakov Foundation.

Famtech is a type of technology designed to help families become more prosperous with well-being. Even if the term is not widely used, the famtech industry already exists and is growing rapidly with startups and non-profit initiatives. These initiatives help families keep their finances in check, take care of their health, do family planning, and hire child minders, teachers, nurses, etc. In the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic, more companies and philanthropists are turning to "famtech".

Why is Famtech on the rise?

In 2020, families came under pressure from a shrinking labor market, rising costs and new responsibilities. Families currently need more support than ever, and many creators have recognized that. In response to the COVID-19 crisis, more than 130 project founders created the "Fam Tech Founders Collaborative".

Another reason: Millennials are starting their own families and are counting on technology. Babytech and Femtech were niche markets only 10 years ago, now they are growing rapidly. According to a recent Frost & Sullivan report, the femtech market revenue will reach $1.1 billion by 2024, with an average annual growth rate (CAGR) of 12.9%. This segment includes solutions like the AMMA Pregnancy Tracker, an international service for pregnant women and their families that had previously secured a $1.6 million startup round of business angel investment, then received a further $200,000 from businessman and philanthropist Igor Rybakov in December 2020, the startup's value has quadrupled to $24.5 million in just one year.

What can we expect in the next 30 years?

1. Make way for young people! In 30 years, more than half of the world's population will be under 30. Understanding the life of 30 year olds will determine what our world will be like. In response to this challenge, we and our partners are building the RYBAKOV PLAYSCHOOL teaching network of 10,000,000 kindergarten and elementary school teachers for children aged 3 to 12 to make them as fit as possible for the future. Our future goes to school today.

2. Family matters. Families and communities are bearing the brunt of the pandemic. People with more social connections were better equipped to handle the lockdown. The aim of the UNITED FAMILIES movement, which operates in 160 countries worldwide through national UF confederations, is to create supportive social connections for the security and prosperity of all people in the world. More than 50 million people worldwide are to be supported. The movement's hashtag is #FamilyFirst.

3. Combating inequality of opportunity. Jobs that can be done from the home office, as well as augmented reality, make it possible to find work and take advantage of educational offers anywhere in the world. The RYBAKOV FOUNDATION promotes educational solutions for families worldwide. These solutions are designed to help families ensure their own freedom and protect themselves from abuse, manipulation and control by companies and organizations that act against the interests of families. Supporting communities is another focus of the foundation's efforts to improve the quality of life.

4. The future does not shape itself: we shape it! IMPACTISM is a rising trend. IMPACTISM describes a new form of collective social action that is supposed to ensure a better quality of life and wellbeing. First as a new form of social action and finally as a form of proactive self-organization, IMPACTISM will become the basis for the creation of "supranational" forces and communities. The movement will rely on local actors in a globally distributed, decentralized network who all committed to social change.
