Marcelo González currently serves as the CEO and Co-Founder of Veritran, a global company that speeds up and simplifies the development of digital solutions through its Enterprise Low-Code Platform. Marcelo founded the company in 2005 alongside his business partner with the objective of giving financial institutions the opportunity to develop immersive digital channels easily and quickly, without the need to write a single line of code.
Marcelo also has over 20 years of experience in the financial industry promoting digital transformation projects. Initially, he worked in different technological entities dedicated to the financial industry, including as a Sub-Manager of Electronic Banking at a major international bank where he led home banking initiatives and one of the company’s most important internet service payment projects.
Marcelo has a degree in Systems Engineering from the National Technological University of Argentina (UTN) and an MBA from the University of San Andrés.

In addition to the surplus of client retention during the time, our company is moving forward with even more adaptability in our global markets. We are looking forward to breaking through now more than ever in the U.S. and European markets as businesses plan to increase digital transformation investment in the next years.
What drives your leadership style?
The driving force behind my leadership style is always looking at how to solve people’s problems with disruptive innovation, both on the client-side and for end-users. As a leader of a global company that aims to lead the digital transformation of companies around the world, thinking with an innovative mindset is always my number one goal.
I also have to give credit to the incredible teams at Veritran. These innovation drivers have helped build Veritran into a leading global Enterprise Low-Code Platform provider, and I thank each and every employee that has helped us get there along the way. I would not be the leader that I am today without the support, guidance and leadership from everyone at Veritran. At Veritran, we firmly believe that strong leadership and company culture are essential in digital transformation and model this in our own organization.

At the end of last august, we received a strategic growth investment from Trivest Partners, one of the leading U.S. private equity firms with over $2.4 billion of assets under management, reaching a US$ 225 million valuation. That marks a major milestone for Veritran’s team, as we embark upon a new chapter of becoming the next unicorn.
What excites you most about your work?
Developing applications that make the daily lives of end-users easier is truly what excites me the most. The fact that our Enterprise Low-Code Platform is being used to develop applications across the globe is a humbling feeling, and it brings me great pride that our clients put trust in Veritran to drive innovation for their company and end-users.

In fact, the reliance on Low-Code is only expected to grow. According to Gartner by 2024, Low-Code application development will be responsible for more than 65% of application development activity.
